This policy explains what information this website collects and how we use it. It covers the website only. Once you become a client, your health information is protected under our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at intake and can request anytime.
Who we are
Meghan Fraley, PhD practices as Aligned Minds Psychology, the practice name of Fraley Psychology, Inc., a California professional psychological corporation, 1972 The Alameda, San Jose, CA 95126.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive what you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, the services you’re interested in, your preferred contact method and your message.
Information collected automatically. Our website host, Squarespace, uses cookies and similar technology to run the site and give us summary statistics about visits, such as pages viewed, browser type, general location and the site that referred you. Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam; it collects information about your device and how you use the form, under Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Please keep clinical details out of the form
Our contact form and regular email aren’t designed for confidential health information. Please share only what we need to reach you, and we’ll talk through the rest by phone or in a secure setting.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, schedule a consultation, coordinate a referral, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and the practice, such as our website host, email provider, Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection) and the tools we use to manage inquiries, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Tracking and Do Not Track
Apart from Squarespace’s site statistics and reCAPTCHA on the contact form, we don’t use advertising or tracking tools that follow you across other websites. Our site doesn’t currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not.
Children
This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information online. Parents and guardians are welcome to contact us about services for a child or teen.
Your choices
You can ask us to review, correct or delete information you sent through this website by emailing hello@alignedmindspsych.com.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or email is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
